Prep
  1. Thaw biscuits for 15-30 minutes at room temperature; slice in half horizontally.
  2. Dip each cut side of biscuit halves into melted butter to coat and immediately dip into sugar.
  3. Preheat skillet or griddle over medium heat and place biscuit halves sugar side down.
  4. Cook until sugar coating evenly caramelizes and browns, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and allow to cool before topping.
Berries
  1. Place berries in bowl with juice and sugar; mix until combined and let sit for 30 minutes to allow juices to form.
  2. Stir in chopped mint until evenly mixed; refrigerate until ready to assemble.
Assembly
  1. Pipe 0.3 oz (1 Tbsp) whipped topping around edge of each sugared biscuit half, keeping the middle empty (using a straight pastry tip).
  2. Place 1.3 oz (1/4 cup) of strawberries with juice in middle of biscuit.
  3. Top with biscuit crown and pipe 0.3 oz (1 Tbsp) additional whipped topping on top of biscuits.
  4. Garnish with 1 whole strawberry and serve immediately.

  • Decorate plate with strawberry sauce for added pizazz!

Also, substitute Grand Marnier for the orange juice for a top shelf version.
